Eat Better, Feel Better, Look Better

LGN Nutrition was created with one simple goal in mind: to help people build a healthier body and a healthier relationship with food — without extremes, restriction, or gimmicks.

About Us

LGN Nutrition was created by Mike Penta and Tim Sartor to provide nutrition-only coaching for people who want real results without extreme diets or restriction.

With over 25 years of combined experience and thousands of successful clients, we realized something important: not everyone wants a fitness program or a personal trainer — many people just need help dialing in their nutrition.

That’s where LGN comes in.

We offer fully customized nutrition coaching designed to help you lose weight, gain weight, or maintain a healthy weight while eating foods that fuel your body, improve energy, and support long-term health. We don’t follow a specific diet, and we don’t starve people. Our approach is based on whole foods, flexibility, and sustainability — because restriction creates failure, and flexibility creates success.

LGN stands for Look Good Naked — but the real goal goes far beyond appearance. We help you build a healthier body, better habits, and a positive relationship with food that lasts.

We work with clients both in-person and remotely, and we also offer free monthly educational webinars.

Our nutrition consultation is a one-on-one session focused on understanding your goals, lifestyle, health history, and current eating habits. Meal Planning

Our meal planning process is personalized to you. We factor in your dietary needs, food preferences, schedule, and real-life challenges to create a plan that’s realistic and sustainable. This isn’t about rigid rules — it’s about creating a framework you can follow long term.

Tracking

Success isn’t measured by weight alone. We use InBody body composition scans to track body weight, body fat, body fat percentage, water weight, and lean muscle mass so we can see exactly how your body is changing and ensure progress is healthy and sustainable.

TESTIMONIALS

What Are Our Customers Saying ?

Tim has not only helped me increase my strength and lift more weight than I thought possible, he also emphasized the importance of diet and properly fueling my body. Learning how to eat to support my training has improved my energy, recovery, and overall results.

As a woman, I grew up believing less food and a smaller number on the scale meant success. Thanks to Tim,  I’ve learned how to fuel my body, lift heavy, and measure progress by strength, not a number. I will be honest, it took me a long time to trust this process and listen to what Tim was telling me about the importance of increasing calories for strength. I am thankful that he kept working on me and never gave up.

Kristin Nunes

I came to Tim as a 59 year old at 248 lbs, with a 42” waist. I could swim, bike, run, and suffer for days, but I was miserable. My diet was not crazy out of control - 1,800 to 2,000 calories per day - but the weight would not come off no matter how many thousands of calories I burned.

I started lifting - full body - 2x per peek, and prioritized protein in my diet. I increased my caloric intake to 2,500 per day - and eventually 3,000 calories per day.

I turned 60 two weeks ago, and I feel better than I have at any point I can remember in the past 30 years… easily.

I am down to 216 lbs - with a 35’ waist, and still going. I have added 5-10 pounds of muscle, and I’m still going… I am completely off insulin, with an A1C of 5.5, and also off one of my blood pressure meds.

I cannot recommend this program highly enough; it will change your life if you are willing to stay the course

Tim Sartor

is the co-founder of LGN Nutrition. After being told at 23 years old—following my second back surgery—that I likely wouldn’t be able to exercise the way I wanted, I realized that if I wanted to stay fit and healthy for life, I had to learn how to eat. Over the past 13 years, I’ve earned multiple certifications and tried nearly every training style and nutrition approach imaginable, ultimately distilling it all into simple, sustainable guidelines. These principles meet people where they are, teach them how to eat, and help them build a healthy body, strong physique, and positive relationship with food—for life.

FAQS

Do you provide meal plans right away?

No. We don’t start with rigid meal plans. Your initial nutrition consultation focuses on learning about your goals, lifestyle, health history, habits, and challenges. From there, we educate and guide you on how to structure meals and make better choices. Meal planning support is introduced after we understand what will be sustainable for you.

Do you follow a specific diet (keto, low-carb, etc.)?

No. We do not believe in one-size-fits-all diets. Everything we do is customized to the individual. Our approach focuses on whole foods, flexibility, and sustainability—because restriction leads to burnout, while flexibility leads to long-term success.

How do you measure progress and success?

We use InBody body composition scans to track progress accurately. This allows us to monitor body weight, body fat, body fat percentage, water weight, and lean muscle mass. This gives a much clearer picture of progress than the scale alone and helps guide adjustments to your nutrition over time.

How does accountability work in your program?

Accountability is a major part of success. You’ll have a coach with you every step of the way, communicating multiple times per week for check-ins, support, and guidance. We also include weekly in-person sit-downs (or virtual meetings if remote) to review progress, address challenges, and make adjustments to keep you moving forward.
